That is why UNIPAM, in partnership with the Daniel Franco Institute, has taken a major step towards furthering its mission of transforming people and society through education.

With this partnership, the internationalization of UNIPAM gains new contours. The rapprochement with several African countries, facilitated by the Daniel Franco Institute, opens opportunities and creates new perspectives for educational partnerships between the institution and these countries.

As a starting point of this internationalization process, UNIPAM and the Institute promoted AFRIKA WEEK, a week dedicated to one of the most exuberant continents of planet Earth, for the richness of its history and traditions, cultural plurality, ethnic diversity and natural beauty. Through discussions, workshops and exhibitions, AFRIKA WEEK aimed to strengthen UNIPAM's relationship with representatives from various African countries, identifying potentialities and possibilities for cooperation through student exchanges, knowledge transfer and the offer of undergraduate and graduate courses.

UNIPAM was chosen, among several Brazilian higher education institutions, by the Daniel Franco Institute, for its excellence in teaching and for its commitment to local and regional human development, which made it one of the most important university centers in Brazil.

The Power of Transformation

Centro Universitário de Patos de Minas (UNIPAM) has offered high quality education for over 50 years and has the highest score according to the evaluation of Ministério da Educação, besides being the only higher education institution in Latin America recognized with four certifications ISO (9001; 14001; 18001; 8000). Our mission is to transform people and society through excellence in education, creating opportunities and developing talents.

This way, our history and our services allowed us to build strong partnerships like the one we signed with Instituto Daniel Franco and International Training Center Mário Franco. Our goal is to offer undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as practical training courses in a variety of modalities (traditional classes or online instruction- e-learning) to countries in Africa and in Europe.

We strongly believe that our partnership will make our internationalization process possible, enabling our institution to effectively accomplish its mission to transform people and society through knowledge.
